An Austin, Texas, couple wanted to trade their basic primary bathroom for a warmer, more organic retreat. Designer Cameron Getter — who had collaborated with them on earlier projects — reworked the layout by removing outdated fixtures, eliminating the tub (another exists elsewhere), enlarging the shower and straightening awkward angles.
With the architecture reset, Getter layered in warmth and texture with glazed aloe green ceramic tiles, a custom white oak vanity and brass accents. Terrazzo-look porcelain flooring and a low-curb shower bring subtle pattern and energy.
