On Dec. 18, Amazon Business expanded its Business Prime membership program, adding new benefits from Intuit QuickBooks, CrowdStrike and Gusto.
Amazon Business moves to position the service as a broader operating platform for small and mid-sized businesses. The latest offers provide discounted or no-cost access to financial management, cybersecurity and payroll tools, extending Business Prime beyond its core procurement, shipping and spend-management features. Amazon said the expanded benefits could help eligible U.S. customers save $1,000 per year.
“Small business owners wear a lot of hats — accountant, HR manager, IT lead — sometimes all before lunch,” said Todd Heimes, vice president of Amazon Business. “These new Business Prime benefits are designed to help them work smarter and save money.”
Amazon Business launched in the U.S. in 2015. It has since become a growing focus for the company. The company said that unit generates more than $35 billion in annualized gross sales and serves more than 8 million organizations worldwide, excluding emerging markets. Amazon Business operates in 11 countries and continues to expand its role beyond purchasing by adding tools aimed at simplifying back-office operations for business customers.
Amazon ranks No. 1 in Digital Commerce 360’s Top 2000 Database. The database is how Digital Commerce 360 tracks the largest North American online retailers by their annual ecommerce sales.
Amazon is also No. 3 in Digital Commerce 360’s Global Online Marketplaces Database. That database ranks the 100 largest such marketplaces by third-party gross merchandise value (GMV).
About the new Amazon Business Prime benefits in 2026
Beginning in 2026, eligible Business Prime members will be able to subscribe to QuickBooks Online Simple Start for $180 per year. That’s a 60% discount from the standard $456 price. The offer includes a direct integration with Amazon Business that automates purchase reconciliation and expense categorization. The QuickBooks benefit is available to U.S. Business Prime Essentials members who are new QuickBooks Online subscribers.
Amazon Business is also adding CrowdStrike Falcon Go cybersecurity protection at no additional cost for Business Prime members on the Essentials plan and above. Falcon Go, which Amazon values at $59 per device annually, provides AI-driven protection against ransomware, malware and other cyber threats. The offer applies to U.S. members without an existing CrowdStrike account, while Business Prime Duo members will receive a 50% discount on Falcon Go.
In human resources, Amazon Business said U.S. Business Prime members can now receive 70% off their first 12 months of Gusto’s payroll and HR platform. The discount applies to new Gusto customers and covers services including payroll processing, tax filing, onboarding and benefits administration. Standard pricing will apply after the promotional period.
The new benefits build on existing Business Prime features such as fast, free shipping on millions of items, guided buying controls, spend visibility tools and flexible payment options. Amazon said Business Prime members saved more than $750 million globally in shipping fees last year, with half of global orders and more than 70% of U.S. orders delivered the same day or next day.
