It’s rare for a condominium—luxury or otherwise—to reshape a borough’s skyline as significantly as the Brooklyn Tower, which stands alone as the borough’s only supertall building. Fans of the Gothic skyscraper, now owned by Silverstein Properties, can now call its 92nd-floor crown jewel, aka the highest residence in the neighborhood, their own. The $16.5 million spread is available through Corcoran Sunshine.

Perched a knee-buckling 1,000 feet above the street with four bedrooms and five bathrooms, the over 5,100-square-foot penthouse is the only full-floor residence in the building. Still, “The residence blends architectural grandeur with intimate warmth,” press materials explain. Tall windows framing New York City landmarks, such as the One World Trade Center, speak to this—allowing natural light to softly highlight interiors by Gachot Studios.

Owners and their guests arrive at a private elevator lobby with a foyer and an extensive gallery at either end of the hall. Beyond the foyer, the great room has heart-skipping panoramic vistas of Kings County, the Manhattan skyline, and beyond. Floor-to-ceiling windows capped by 12-foot ceilings and European white oak floors in a custom honey stain accentuate those horizons, alongside mahogany millwork and bronze detailing.

Stone countertops and integrated Miele appliances outfit the kitchen, complemented by Waterworks fixtures with an oil-rubbed bronze finish. Six people can dine in its breakfast area, while groups of 10 or more are able to gather in the dining room. A nearby wet bar facilitates entertaining. Privately situated at the opposite end of the house, the primary suite encompasses a scenic-view bedroom, dressing room, and honed Breccia Capria marble-finished bathroom. Three ensuite bedrooms are accessed from the gallery.

Brooklyn Tower is home to 100,000 square feet of exclusive indoor and outdoor amenities as well. The Life Time Athletic Club is where most of them are found, including a 75-foot indoor lap pool, billiards room, library lounge, theater with a wet bar, kids playroom, outdoor pools, and a fully serviced poolside lounge and atrium. Residents have access to other dedicated features, too, like a children’s playground, off-site parking, and Sky Park, which has a basketball court, a foosball table, and a dog run.

The hexagonal tower is attached to the historic Dime Savings Bank and was completed in 2022, boasting a design by SHoP Architects that holds 550 units. Ready to have the best view in Brooklyn?
