Although their friendship may have waned over the last couple of years, Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz are still on good terms.
The Vanderpump Rules alums proved this on Saturday, March 15, when they reunited for a special night out in Schwartz’s home state of Minnesota. Sandoval teased the get-together in a recent promo video for his band, Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras.

“Hey, everyone! I just wanted to remind you that me and the Most Extras are gonna be playing March 15, Saturday at the Grand Casino in Hinckley, Minnesota,” he said in the Instagram Reel. “But guess what? I have news: Somebody is joining me…”
Schwartz then entered the frame and held up the heart hand gesture.
“Let’s go, baby,” Schwartz added. “Getting the band back together.”

Sandoval went on to repost several photos and videos from the Minnesota gig, in which he performed a Queen cover, his Charles McMansion track “T.I.P.,” and the fan-favorite rendition of “Stacy’s Mom” — a 2003 record by Fountains of Wayne. For the latter song, Sandoval invited his longtime friend to join him on stage and revamped the lyrics from “Stacy’s mom” to “Schwartz’s mom.”
The concert was followed by a meet-and-greet for VIP ticket-holders.
Kristen Doute sheds more light on the Toms’ relationship today
The Vanderpump Rules duo became friends years before their Bravo debuts in 2013. Their friendship took a hit, however, in 2023 when it was revealed that Sandoval had been unfaithful to his now-ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix. The scandal caused tensions between Sandoval and Schwartz, who also co-owned the now-defunct restaurant/lounge Schwartz & Sandy’s. Schwartz touched on the friendship rift in a 2023 episode of When Reality Hits, hosted by his former castmates Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright.
“It’s hard for me not to be resentful of him,” he said, via Page Six. “I’m taking a break from Tom right now.”
Vanderpump Rules alum Kristen Doute shed more light on the Toms’ relationship during a January appearance on Bravo’s Hot Mic Podcast, saying the former besties weren’t as close as they used to be.
“I talk to Schwartz pretty often, like, we’re both very close with Schwartz,” she said, referring to her fiancé Luke Broderick. “And Schwartz and Sandoval have sort of evolved away from each other. I know there’s a lot of love there. I think it’s one of those, it’s like a me and Katie [Maloney] (Schwartz’s ex-wife) thing; it’s like it will always be there, but I don’t think they’re going to be as close as they used to be. And I think Sandoval’s gotta kind of just go through what he’s going through and then hopefully come out the other side of it.”
