From the queen of the Christian Louboutin Kate heel to the poster girl for the Italian bob craze, Zendaya is constantly serving up fashion and beauty inspiration. This week, the actor revealed a short-fringed pixie cut and, of course, we were calling our hairstylist to book an appointment.
This isn’t Zendaya’s first foray into pixies—in 2016, the star rocked a golden blonde crop. But with hair trends erring shorter and shorter during the first few months of the year, it only makes sense she would give the trend a try.
It should be noted that the short hairstyle is not likely a real hair transformation as the photos were part of a new campaign for Swiss sports brand On.

In addition to the pixie, Zendaya also wore pointed ears reminiscent of well-known alien sci-fi characters from pop culture, and a space suit designed by none other than stylist Law Roach. It was not the first time the actor and stylist had dabbled in space-core, either.
Who knows? Maybe Zendaya will soon opt for short hair in real life, too.
