There’s a great deal for round-trip flights to Europe right now.

You can currently book cheap flights from all eight of TAP Air Portugal’s U.S. gateways — as well as from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), where TAP Air Portugal launches service May 16, 2025 — for under $400 round-trip.

Sale fares are available through May 4, 2025, for travel from Sept. 15, 2025, through March 22, 2026. Holiday blackout dates of Dec. 15, 2025, to Jan. 12, 2026, apply.

    DC to Madrid

Deal for D.C. to Madrid for $399 in September. TAP AIR PORTUGAL

I was able to find round-trip flights from IAD to MAD in September 2025 for $398.91. That’s an incredible deal, though keep in mind that you’ll need to pay extra for seat selection and baggage.

You can also add a free stopover on TAP Air Portugal, allowing you to spend up to 10 days in another city.

    Bottom line

    ERICA SILVERSTEIN/THE POINTS GUY

This is a great deal for discounted TAP Air Portugal flights from the U.S. to Europe. Reduced rates for flights to destinations in Portugal, France, Italy and Germany start as low as $399. You’ll need to act fairly quickly, though. Flights are available to book through May 4, 2025.

If you don’t want to pay cash, you can now also redeem JetBlue TrueBlue points for TAP Air Portugal flights. You can book nonstop flights from the U.S. and Canada to TAP Air Portugal’s hub cities. Economy-class flights are available between LIS and various U.S. and Canadian airports for as few as 19,000 TrueBlue points each way, plus taxes and fees.
