Znode has released an updated version of its software aimed at offering manufacturers and distributors greater flexibility and scalability without traditional upgrade barriers.
The new distributed SaaS version of Znode runs on Microsoft Azure infrastructure. It maintains siloed customer data and emphasizes an API-first architecture for extensibility. Znode designed the platform to address a key challenge in B2B ecommerce: balancing flexibility and modernization without relying on heavily customized legacy systems or adapting consumer-oriented SaaS platforms.
How a Znode upgrade addresses B2B ecommerce
Znode’s latest update introduces:
- Embedded AI tools for generating product descriptions and SEO content.
- A visual page builder for storefront management.
- Expanded dynamic data features.
- An upgraded search function optimized for mobile use.
It also includes integrated payment orchestration across more than 130 providers and pre-configured business intelligence reports through Microsoft Power BI. Front-end accelerators using React and Next.js frameworks aim to improve site speed and performance.
In a statement, Rupesh Agrawal, CEO and chief product officer of Znode, said the company built the platform to “reduce onboarding time and total cost of ownership,” while focusing on scalability and user experience.
Znode is positioning the Distributed SaaS release as a solution for B2B companies that need to operate multiple business models, run unlimited storefronts, and manage complex catalog structures from a centralized console.
Znode is a B2B ecommerce platform that operates as a product of Milwaukee-based Amla Commerce, which develops digital commerce solutions for B2B organizations.
The company did not disclose specific pricing, customer adoption numbers, or financial expectations for the updated version.
