We need these justices, who have life tenure, to speak up. We just do. And they’re not. They’re probably afraid. John Roberts needs to come out and say, ‘Hey America, we’re in crisis here. Are you going to support the rule of law, or are you going to support lawlessness?’ I mean really, what are we doing?

Segall of Georgia State College of Law, in comments given to the ABA Journal, on Supreme Court justices’ responses to Donald Trump’s continued attacks on the judiciary and the rule of law. Segall went on to say that the calls for action that have been made thus far by Ketanji Brown Jackson, Sonia Sotomayor, and John Roberts are “nowhere near enough” to put an end to Trump’s legal misdeeds.
