If there’s a graceful way to embrace the passage of time, ManéMané has found it. This year, the brand marks its 10th anniversary with a sense of introspection rather than nostalgia. “We want to celebrate the evolution of the brand, but always with our eyes firmly set on the future,” creative director Miguel Becer told Vogue España moments before the show.

To mark a decade at the helm of his label, Becer chose to return to the runway—a format he had put aside in recent seasons. In collaboration with 080 Barcelona, the show was a joyful comeback. “I enjoy working on collections with or without a show, but the team reached out, and with the anniversary around the corner, it felt like the perfect moment to say yes,” he explained.

Presenting a runway collection infused with elements of punk and folklore, Becer revisited many of ManéMané’s signature codes—only to transform them through a new lens. “Some of the iconic pieces from our universe—like corsets—are back, but reinvented as quilted jackets or seamlessly woven into garments, stripped of boning and structure,” he said. And true to the brand’s DNA, the clothes were both bold and experimental.

Indeed, the brand’s forward-thinking spirit feels sharper than ever. Shifting away from total looks, Becer leaned instead into pieces that stand—and speak—for themselves. “I want to step away from the idea that every piece must work together as part of a full look,” he said. “I love brands like Miu Miu, who, with stylist Lotta Volkova, have been exploring this more grounded, realistic approach.”

On the runway, the collection unfolded to the pulse of techno, setting the stage for a mix of stripes, Liberty florals, and checks. The combinations felt rooted in underground culture, yet echoed with touches of folk tradition. In line with the collection’s eclectic spirit, sunglasses tied around the head, while footwear—developed in collaboration with the iconic Y2K brand Art—had a lot of character. “Collaborations have been key,” Becer noted. Eschewing the total look, this 360º proposition offered anyone the chance to dive headfirst into the ManéMané universe.
