    Ralph Lauren Corp. has named Naveen Seshadri as its new global chief digital officer (CDO), reinforcing the company’s commitment to accelerating digital innovation as part of its broader transformation strategy.

    Seshadri joined Ralph Lauren in April 2024 as global head of consumer technology and digital commerce for North America. He announced his promotion on LinkedIn earlier this month.

    In his expanded role, Seshadri is responsible for building a unified digital ecosystem that seamlessly connects ecommerce, in-store technology, and global consumer experiences. He will focus on key areas including personalization, artificial intelligence, platform modernization, and integrated cross-channel commerce — aimed at enhancing customer engagement and driving innovation.

    Ralph Lauren reported an 11% year-over-year revenue increase to $2.1 billion for the third quarter of fiscal year 2025, driven by nearly 12% growth in global direct-to-consumer sales. The company projects full-year constant currency revenue growth of 6% to 7% for the fiscal year ending March 2025.

    Ralph Lauren is No. 67 in the Top 2000 Database. The database ranks North America’s largest online retailers by their annual ecommerce sales.

    This leadership move aligns with Ralph Lauren’s “Next Great Chapter: Accelerate” plan — a three-year strategic initiative it launched in 2022 to elevate its luxury heritage while pursuing sustainable growth through digital transformation.

    Seshadri brings experience from leading global brands. At The Walt Disney Company, he served as executive vice president of global retail for the consumer products segment, where he led digital commerce and retail operations. He has also held senior roles at Foot Locker, BJ’s Wholesale Club, and Lonely Planet. At BJ’s, he spearheaded omnichannel strategies as vice president of digital commerce and experience, shaping the company’s digital customer journey.

    Seshadri’s promotion comes during a period of significant leadership change in Ralph Lauren’s digital and technology divisions. Janet Sherlock, the former chief digital and technology officer, retired in September 2024 and was succeeded by Christopher Conrad. Conrad later departed in January 2025 to become chief technology and information officer at Aritzia. These transitions highlight Ralph Lauren’s strategic emphasis on strengthening digital leadership to support its transformation goals.

    Seshadri’s appointment as global CDO represents a key step forward in Ralph Lauren’s digital journey, positioning the brand to deliver enhanced consumer experiences and long-term, tech-enabled growth in an evolving retail landscape.
