In New York City, there were about 174 deals recorded, totaling about $293.3 million.

🏆Residential: The top residential deal recorded was for a condominium in Yorkville. David and Cari Grodner, via a trust, shed a condo at 170 East End Avenue for $8.2 million. The buyer was a holding company affiliated with Lance Bruck, an obstetrician-gynecologist. Cari Grodner bought the unit in 2009 for $7.4 million. David Grodner owns an insurance company. The sellers put the home on the market in July 2023 initially, seeking $9.8 million for the more than 3,600-square-foot home. Corcoran’s Ileana Lopez-Balboa had the listing.

🏆Commercial: The top commercial deal recorded was for a $12 million portfolio in Long Island City. The sellers were a holding company, with Michelangelo Pino as a member, and Domenico and Maria Pinto; they had owned the properties for decades. The buyer was a company tied to Mordechai Schwimmer. The five adjacent properties are warehouses and multifamily houses from 34-10 to 34-24 38th Street.

📊Residential: Hope Winters sold a five-bedroom condo and a storage unit at 145 East 76th Street on the Upper East Side for $5.1 million. The buyer was a trust tied to former director of the National Economic Council Gary Cohn and his wife, Lisa Pevaroff, an artist. The full-floor unit spans about 3,300 square feet, pricing the deal at roughly $1,545 per square foot. The unit has been on and off the market since 2023, when Winters was asking $7.5 million for the home. The most recent asking price, however, was $5.4 million. Brown Harris Stevens’ Lisa Lippman and Gerard Moore represented the seller.

📊Residential: A trust tied to investment advisor Roger Dean Werner and Marlene Werner purchased a condo at 30 Lincoln Plaza, at 30 West 63rd Street in Lincoln Square, from billionaire investor and banker Roger Tamraz for $5 million. Tamraz had owned the three-bedroom, 2,200-square-foot unit since 2020, when he acquired it for $4.4 million.

📊Residential: Feng Gu and Xindi Xu dropped $6.7 million, or $2,340 per square foot, on a sponsor unit at Rybak Development’s 126 East 86th Street on the Upper East Side. The initial asking price, from 2023, for the four-bedroom condo was $8.5 million. Douglas Elliman’s John Gomes, Fredrik Eklund, Adam Widener, Kevin Stefanak and Mollie Claire Lawrence had the listing.

📊Commercial: In North Williamsburg, a three-story walk-up with 11 apartments at 167 North Ninth Street traded hands for $6.3 million. The buyer was a company connected with Twin Oaks Equity Partners. The seller was a company linked to David Winter, Arthur Heiserman and Perry Hoberman.
📊Commercial: In Kingsbridge, Leslie Lerner’s L.A.L. Property Management offloaded a five-story mixed-use property at 3174 Riverdale Avenue for $4.8 million. The firm bought the building in 2015 for $5.3 million. The buyer in the latest deal was a company linked to Patrick Mitchell.
