Lawyers suing TikTok over privacy violations against minors hit an impasse over who should lead the litigation, even after a federal judge on Thursday gave them a courtroom break to work it out on their own.
Plaintiffs’ lawyers vying for lead roles were split into two camps. Leading a group of seven lawyers were Derek Loeser, at Seattle’s Keller Rohrback; Kiley Grombacher, at Bradley/Grombacher in Westlake Village, California; and Andre Mura, of GibbsMura in Oakland, California. Two lawyers, Steven Bloch, of Silver Golub & Teitell in Stamford, Connecticut, and Eric Kafka, of Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll in New York, comprised the competing slate.
