    Wilmer Wins Key Jury Decision for Intel in Long-Running Dispute With VLSI Technology

    A team from Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr has won a key jury decision in Intel Corp.’s long-running, multibillion-dollar patent dispute with VLSI Technology, a decision that could mean Intel’s licensing deal with a sister company becomes a factor in the case.

    After only an hour of deliberation, a federal jury in Austin, Texas, on Thursday determined that New York-based Fortress Investment Group controls VLSI and Finjan Holdings, technology companies both headquartered in San Jose, California.
