BMW will raise prices on most of its 2026 lineup by between $1,100 and $2,500 on July 1. Prices will not change on the 2025 models that many dealers still have on their lots.
CarsDirect first reported the news, citing a memo sent to dealers. A BMW spokesperson later confirmed it to Car and Driver.

Prices will increase by 1.9% on most vehicles. Electric vehicles (EVs) like the iX and i5 will be exempt from the move. So will the high-performance M2, the 2 Series Gran Coupe, and the rare, ultra-high-end Alpina XB7 version of the X7.
BMW is not blaming tariffs for the increases, telling dealers they are “in line with past pricing communications, and accounts for inflation and enhancements to standard equipment where applicable.”
However, a recent report from the industry publication Automotive News notes that “many manufacturers are framing price increases carefully to avoid backlash from President Donald Trump.”
