Although he hasn’t officially welcomed his first child, Nathan Gallagher is already getting Father’s Day love.
On Sunday, June 15, the Below Deck Mediterranean deckhand shared the heartwarming note he received from Gael Cameron, his fellow yachtie girlfriend, who is pregnant with their son.
“Came home to Irish Father’s Day gifts and a card today,” he captioned the Instagram Story. “I’d be lying if I said I didn’t cry. [Gael] you’re the best.”
The post showed a handwritten note from Gael and their unborn child, “Baby G.”

“To my dear Nathan,” the letter began. “Only a few more days until you are officially a dad! Watching you grow, learn and develop as a man and father has been the best thing in the world. You’ll always be the most wonderful dad! Happy Father’s Day!
“This time next year we will [be] celebrating with nappies, bottles, and lots of giggles as a family,” Gael continued. “Our son and I are truley blessed to have you in our lives!! I know you will be the best dad ever!!! Love mum + Baby G.”

Since announcing their baby news back in April, Gael and Nathan have shared regular updates on their journey. Fans have seen everything from the couple’s ultrasound appointment to the moment they learned their baby’s sex to their adorable baby shower with friends and family They showed off the latter in a June 9 Instagram carousel.
“A day we’ll never forget,” Gael captioned the baby shower post. “Thank you to everyone who helped make our baby shower so special. Can’t be more grateful for the people we have in our lives and get to share with our baby boy.”
The event took place on June 8 in Gael’s hometown of Sydney, Australia. As seen on social media, the party featured a beautiful photo backdrop with a blue-and-gray balloon arch and oversized alphabet blocks that spelled “baby.” There was also a game station where guests could estimate the size of Gael’s baby bump, try to guess the flavors of baby food, and answer some baby trivia.
The couple, who met on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9, also participated in a diaper-changing and bottle-chugging contest.
Gael Cameron shares honest update on her third trimester
Gael returned to Instagram on June 12 to share a quick update on her final days of pregnancy and the fatigue she was experiencing.
“The mental load is real!” she wrote. “At this point I’m wishing I could nap. Only thing I can think of is how much more needs to be done. So conflicted with wanting him to come out and wanting him to just hang out for a little longer.”
