It’s finally time to plan an idyllic picnic. Picture a breezy afternoon with a cozy striped blanket, a vintage-inspired woven basket, chilled drinks, and a spread that looks like it’s out of a magazine: Our finds from the Better Homes & Gardens collection at Walmart make that dreamy scene easier and more accessible than ever to bring to life. Now visualize all of that for under $100—from a classic basket to elegant (and breakage-free) drinkware, we have everything you need to picnic like a pro.

A convenient, durable blanket is the foundation for any good picnic. This reversible Teal Picnic Blanket rolls up seamlessly with a handle that makes it easy to transport. And it repels liquids, which is a must for any outdoor blanket. There are two patterns to choose from: The top has a solid teal center with a cottagesque floral pattern at the edges; the bottom features simple stripes. The large size (72-inches wide) makes it perfect for a family of four with a small food spread in the middle. You can also snag it in green or beige.

You could pop all your goodies in a cooler, but this Rattan Picnic Basket is a much chicer option. The basket feels and looks durable, but it’s actually pretty lightweight at just under 3 pounds empty. The steel frame allows you to add Champagne or a bottle of red wine without worrying about collapse, and the rattan finish feels handmade (it’s actually handwoven). Load up all three compartments with beverages, utensils, condiments, and the main course.

Our Tritan Plastic Stemmed Wine Glasses allow you to celebrate with the elegance of a stem without the breakage worry. Each glass holds up to 17 ounces, so they’re large enough for all your favorite summer cocktails and mocktails. The ribbed design and color wash (available in green or blue) give these a vintage feel, and the plastic, shatter-proof material makes them safe for all outdoor environments. After the picnic, pop them in your dishwasher’s top rack for easy cleanup.

For picnics with kids, consider packing a few Tritan Plastic Stemless Wine Glasses, which are much easier for them to sip from. This option is also ideal if you know your picnic is going to be on more rugged terrain where a stemmed glass would be hard to set down. Like the stemmed version, these are elegant, shatter-proof, and hefty. Each glass holds up to 15 ounces and features the same blue or green ribbed base. Fill them up with your favorite homemade lemonade or iced tea.

Picnic fare is meant to be light and easy, and it doesn’t get much more convenient than a spread. This Charcuterie Cheese Board Set includes a natural bamboo serving board with a hidden compartment that includes stainless steel cheese knives and food markers. There are also two ceramic bowls for dips and spreads. Just add your favorite meats, cheeses, and fruits, and you’re ready to sit back and enjoy your summer picnic.

The most fun part about picnicking (other than gathering with loved ones or doing something nice for yourself): the curation. If you want to grow your collection so you can change up the feel each time you grab your blanket, here are a few more options.

3 More Picnic Pieces to Add to Your Basket

The beverage dispenser is such a game changer.

You don’t need to spend a fortune to have a picnic that feels like an elegant countryside luncheon. A few thoughtful, affordable touches from our exclusive collection will make it feel special. For more outdoor dining essentials, head to the Better Homes & Gardens collection at Walmart.
