Following recent U.S. Supreme Court precedent, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit ruled that an officer can’t arrest someone solely for refusing to give their name when asked, siding with the plaintiff on his retaliatory arrest claim against a Missouri police officer.
