    • The Acura Integra gets a light technology update for the 2026 model year

The Acura Integra turns 40 in 2026. For its birthday, its parents will give it a larger standard touchscreen, standard wireless phone integration at every trim level, and some new color choices.

Acura says its compact luxury car makes up “over 40% of premium compact sedan segment retail sales,” though no one agrees on exactly which cars sit in the same segment, so the claim is hard to verify.

Regardless, we love it. KBB expert test driver Joe Tralongo says, “After just a few minutes behind the wheel of the 2025 Acura Integra, even Elon Musk might have second thoughts about the superiority of self-driving cars. The Integra begs to be pushed hard, equipped with a taut suspension, precise steering, and an eager engine.”

Acura won’t mess with what’s working for the 2026 model year. So, the changes planned for the Integra are mostly refinements to cabin technology. The company hasn’t announced pricing. The 2025 model in showrooms now starts at $34,195, with the extraordinary Type S performance edition priced at $54,095.

New Tech Inside, Color-Matched Grill for Some Paint Choices

    • Larger standard screen
    • Wireless tech now standard instead of optional

In 2025, a 7-inch touchscreen is standard in the Integra, with a 9-inch model available as part of the Technology Package. In 2026, the larger screen will be standard at every trim level. The same is true of wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Once part of the Technology Package, they’ll now be included even on the base model.

A-Spec models will get a new aero kit that “adds gloss black side spoilers to each corner of the front fascia and a sleek new side sill garnish that improve the sedan’s high-speed aerodynamics and visual appeal.”

Three new colors appear: Silver Metallic, Urban Gray Pearl, and Double Apex Blue Pearl. Integra models painted in the blue or in Performance Red Pearl will come with color-matched grilles.

The best news may be what’s not changing. With no mechanical changes planned, 2026 Integra buyers will still have the option of one of the best short-throw manual transmissions available at any price.

Dealers will have the 2026 Integra model next month.
