Dr. Nicole Martin is back on The Real Housewives of Miami — and she wasted no time bringing the heat.
The RHOM alum, who made her mark as a cast member on Seasons 4-6, returned for a lunch with Guerdy Abraira during Season 7, Episode 8. The duo took the opportunity to catch up on all the latest updates in each other’s lives, as well as to gossip about recent drama within the group, of course.
Nicole — who arrived toting a $96,600 Birkin bag — reflected on how the “blind alliances” among certain cast members is ultimately what had set her apart from the other ladies.
“I don’t understand that because if I’m someone’s friend, I will hear your story and be like, ‘You know what, Guerdy? That was wrong.’ Like, ‘You know what? Maybe you shouldn’t have said that,'” she explained. “That’s what friends do. We’re honest with each other. I tell you if I think you said something out of line. With these girls, no. They’re like horses with [blinders] on.”
When Guerdy asked what it would take for Nicole to return to RHOM on a more regular basis, she stalled by taking a bite of her food, before coyly answering, “TBD.”

Even though Stephanie Shojaee previously dated Nicole’s fiancé, Anthony Lopez, about 20 years ago, Nicole told Guerdy that she was still “excited” to meet her, predicting that she would “get along” well with the RHOM Season 7 newcomer.
“Listen, there have to be some similarities if the same man liked us both,” Nicole added. “And let me tell you, Anthony is picky as f–k.”

So, Guerdy immediately FaceTimed Stephanie to make the introduction, and the two briefly discussed their hair colors, joking that they’d look “like twins” if they ever sported the same hue.
“Nicole’s fabulous,” Stephanie declared in a confessional. “Clearly, we have to have some similar traits.”
She also noted that she could tell Anthony “was gonna go far in life” during their romance two decades ago. Insisting that “nobody’s really comparing private jets around here,” Stephanie did point out, however, that her plane is “kinda bigger” than his and Nicole’s.

After their chat, Nicole revealed that her “initial thought” about Stephanie joining the group was that she would not “get along with” Alexia Nepola, even prior to their recent drama.
“There’s, like, that alpha competition, and if you don’t bend the knee, like, [Alexia] doesn’t do well,” she elaborated. “And Stephanie doesn’t strike me as a knee-bender.”

As Guerdy noted in a confessional, “Nicole has gone through a lot” recently, including the “sudden passing” of father, Miguel Martin II in October 2023, followed by the “emotional roller coaster” of ongoing postpartum issues after welcoming her daughter, Genevieve Nicole Lopez, about six or seven weeks prematurely in March 2024.
The anesthesiologist, who also shares 6-year-old son Greyson with Anthony, pointed out that “Baby G” was about four pounds when Guerdy last saw her. Now, she’s “like 90th percentile” for weight, Nicole added of her “little pudge-sicle.”
“Doesn’t she look like my dad?” she asked Guerdy. “Something about her really reminds me of him.”
Nicole went on to recall the “nightmare” surrounding Genevieve’s premature birth.
“She was in the NICU for 10 days,” she said. “Then, I had to leave the hospital. She stayed behind because she wasn’t breathing well, and I felt guilty because I couldn’t be there because I hadn’t seen Greyson for almost, like, a week.”
On Instagram, Nicole has given more behind-the-scenes peeks at her family life, most recently sharing “mini-me” Genevieve’s first bike ride, as well as their summer vacations to such destinations as Aspen, Colorado, and The Bahamas.
“Traveling with little ones can have its challenges, but the smiles are worth it,” Nicole captioned a July 20 post that appeared to show Genevieve (aka “Gena”) taking in a rodeo.

In addition to her career as board-certified anesthesiologist, Nicole also co-founded the Exoceuticals skincare brand and is an “integral” to the beauty company’s operation.
Meanwhile, she and The Real Housewives of Dallas‘ Dr. Tiffany Moon co-host the weekly Scrubs to Stilettos podcast, which they describe as “your new favorite guilty pleasure where brains meet beauty and real talk meets real life.”
Dr. Nicole and Anthony also reportedly sold their waterfront Coral Gables estate to UK singer, Robbie Williams, recently, in a $40 million off-market deal (with an extra $5 million for furnishings), according to The New York Post. It is unclear, however, where Nicole’s family will be moving next.
Why did Dr. Nicole Martin leave RHOM?
Nicole confirmed that she was “stepping back” from RHOM in September 2024, explaining her desire to focus on her family and herself while navigating postpartum anxiety after Genevieve’s birth.
“This is way more than just the normal new mom worries,” she told PEOPLE, at the time. “It’s an intense, overwhelming sense of worry and fear that comes out of nowhere and just consumes me.”
Citing her new priorities, Nicole also promised, “It’s not goodbye forever, I’ll pop up here and there, just not in a full-time capacity. I just need to shift my focus on other things right now.”
