The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys mom Kristi McBee takes her role as the family “peacemaker” very seriously — even when it involves making amends with Galyna Saltkovska, aka “the mistress that effectively ended her marriage” to Steven McBee Sr.
Following their face-to-face meeting during Season 2, Episode 6, Kristi revealed a surprising update on where she and Galyna stand today, in an exclusive interview with The Daily Dish.
Highlighting the intense healing process that followed her “hard” divorce from Steve Sr., the McBee matriarch also pointed out how her now-ex-husband had left Galyna for her friend, Masha.
“Galyna apologized to me, and I’m not bitter with her at all,” Kristi shared. “I mean, she’s gone through enough herself. I don’t have any ill will towards her. How could I? I wouldn’t ever want to punish her; she’s getting punished enough.”

The mom of four continued, “Unfortunately, I don’t know if she wanted my life or not … but she got it. And it’s not always what you think it will be. And unfortunately, she’s seeing what I went through, and I hope she can find her way out because I don’t want that for her.”
As Kristi concluded of the McBee Farm & Cattle Co’s CFO, “She’s a hard worker. And she’s a strong woman. She just fell under his manipulation.”
Kristi McBee details Galyna Saltkovska and Steven McBee Sr.’s affair
During The McBee Dynasty‘s August 4 episode, Kristi opened up about Steve’s “infidelity” after 28 years of marriage and, more specifically his and Galyna’s alleged years-long affair.
As she recalled, Galyna had “a little side cleaning business,” and her then-husband hired the Russian beauty to clean their family home. Steve ultimately “brought her on with the other companies,” while Kristi lived and worked in Kansas City Monday through Friday and spent her weekends with him in Gallatin, Missouri.

“But I was also naive,” Kristi admitted, clarifying that despite their “marriage issues,” she and Steve “were never separated.”
“Then, I found out everything that developed between them,” she continued. “I was blown away. So, I filed for divorce.”

When Kristi eventually invited Galyna to sit down and talk over dinner, however, she wasn’t particularly interested in rehashing the past.
When Galyna mentioned how she had been “the other woman” in their marriage, Kristi responded, “That cut deep. It wasn’t OK.”
Having already admitted earlier that her current feud with Steve Sr. and Masha could have been a direct result of “karma” for hurting Kristi, Galyna went on to say that she wanted to apologize and share her side of the story. However, Kristi shut her down, explaining that her main concern at the moment was to protect her son, Steven McBee Jr, who hadn’t been sleeping amid an FBI investigation and the businesses facing financial hardships.
“You don’t have to tell me your side of the story,” the mom of four (who also shares sons Jesse McBee, Cole McBee, and Brayden McBee with her ex) responded. “All the drama with Masha and with you, it’s affecting the boys a lot, you know, and that’s not OK. That’s evil to me. That’s malicious.”
Ultimately, Kristi confessed that she was coming to Galyna as a mother in need of some help.
“If I could ask one thing of you, try to pull yourself together. They need you, and I think that will help you, too,” she continued. “You need to focus on yourself. I just need you to show your strengths right now, or you have to walk away. … I hope I’ve made that very clear.”
Galyna, meanwhile, said she understood and agreed to keep her focus on helping the businesses succeed, rather than dwelling on her personal relationship drama.
