A Minnesota appellate court has held that Minnesota courts have personal jurisdiction over Samsung SDI Co. Ltd., the battery manufacturing arm of South Korea-based Samsung Electronics, in a personal injury and products liability case involving the explosion of an electronic cigarette fitted with a Samsung 18650 lithium-ion battery.
