Boeing Co. has launched a new, unified ecommerce website for its distribution division.

The launch marks a major step in the company’s ongoing effort to modernize and integrate how customers buy parts and access services across its global network. Announced Nov. 17, the platform consolidates Boeing Distribution’s full portfolio into one digital destination.

The overhaul intends to simplify how airlines, maintenance providers, defense customers and suppliers search for products, manage orders and engage with the company. The site replaces separate portals previously used by Boeing Distribution (formerly Aviall) and Boeing Distribution Services.

    Boeing’s unified ecommerce website

Boeing’s new unified commerce website is the centerpiece of a broader yearlong initiative to improve operational performance across the distribution business. During that period, Boeing says it has:

    • Expanded Aircraft-on-Ground (AOG) access to speed up response times.
    • Redesigned its customer support model to streamline communication and issue resolution.
    • Implemented a state-of-the-art enterprise resource planning system intended to unify data and improve visibility across the organization.

“We want to simplify distribution services, maximize customer performance and be the preferred choice for customers and suppliers in the global distribution marketplace,” said William Ampofo, senior vice president of Parts & Distribution and Supply Chain for Boeing Global Services. “The new ecommerce website — along with system and service enhancements — represents a significant step forward in that vision. Together, these investments strengthen our foundation and position us for continued growth.”

The platform gives users access to Boeing’s full catalog of parts and service offerings spanning:

    • Commercial aviation
    • Business and general aviation
    • Vertical lift
    • Defense markets

It includes AI-powered smart search to help users locate parts more quickly, real-time inventory visibility and consolidated access to items and services that previously required separate logins. Boeing said the site is mobile-friendly and designed for around-the-clock access.

Travis Sullivan, vice president and general manager of Boeing Distribution, said the launch is an early milestone in a wider modernization strategy.

“Our integration journey doesn’t stop here,” Sullivan said. “Through innovation, operational excellence and stronger supplier collaboration, we are building a modern, connected distribution business that improves the customer experience and provides the parts and services our global customers need, when and where they need it.”
