Ahead of her singles soiree on Southern Charm, Salley Carson admitted she had “too many crushes going on.” In a surprising turn of events, she revealed Austen Kroll (who was still dating Audrey Pratt, at the time) to be one of the men who had caught her eye.
“I’m a girl’s girl,” Salley declared to Molly O’Connell, Rodrigo Reyes, and Tyler Dugas, during Season 11, Episode 2. “I love Audrey, but my personality fits with Austen very well. I mean, would I hook up with him? The day after they break up, let’s go.”
In a confessional, Molly remarked, “I mean, if I was Audrey and I found out that Salley said that, I’d be like… ‘I’m gonna f–king fight you.'”
Madison LeCroy, meanwhile, joked that they should make a bet about “who’s gonna bang who.”

In a confessional during the episode, Madison shared her blunt take on her ex’s new relationship: “I think Austen’s with Audrey because he knows that’s the only way he’s, like, bettering himself. But he still, I think, wants something that’s gonna light a fire under his ass.”
Shortly afterward, Madison spilled the beans about Salley’s comments to Audrey, while Austen and Salley tossed around a football on the beach.

“Honestly, I think Salley’s got the hots for Austen,” Madison revealed. Though Audrey didn’t say much at the time, she debriefed Austen on her and Madison’s chat a bit later on.
“Oh my gosh, that’s not true,” Austen responded. “Salley liked Craig. And Salley is the class flirt. But, like, with that being said, I do like her. You know, I can joke with her and play football.”
Audrey cautioned her then-boyfriend: “We’ll have a breaking point if it gets too far.”

As Austen observed, Salley had, indeed, made no secret of her romantic interest in Craig. After Madison’s baby shower, Salley shared that she “had so much fun” hanging out with Craig in his hot tub until 4 a.m. Heading into her singles party, Salley said that her goal for the day was to make out with Craig.
Complicating matters, however, was the fact that Craig had an instant attraction to Salley’s best friend, Charley Manley, at the beach bash, resulting in just enough flirty interactions to rub Salley the wrong way.

As the Southern Charm‘s official Season 11 announcement and trailer already teased, there are plenty more twists and turns ahead in Salley’s “love triangle” with Craig and Austen.
“Proudly single, Salley’s interest in Craig has been clear since his breakup, but Austen’s potential new relationship status has her head turning,” a press release read. “As the group wonders who she really wants, some of her important female friendships feel betrayed.”
Indeed, the Season 11 sneak peek showed Salley clashing with both Venita Aspen and Charley over her interest in Craig, before she and Austen share a passionate kiss, in another scene.
