Former Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith attorney Alice Powers was recently hit with a legal-malpractice lawsuit in Denver, alleging that she dropped the ball on representing the owners of an ethanol company, leaving them to foot the bill for a $12 million arbitration judgment.
