Much like a spider’s web, Kitson Yachts’s latest vessel is a rather detailed creation.
The broker just unveiled a new 288-foot Admiral superyacht called Project Spyder, which is slated for delivery in 2027. With plenty details crafted (or spun, perhaps) just for its owners, it’s a sleek, streamlined vessel with plenty of surprises onboard.
Espen Øino took charge on the yacht’s exteriors, which is completed by a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure. As for cruising the seas, the project gets its juice from an advanced diesel-electric propulsion system powered by electric Azipods; this significantly reduced emissions and fuel consumption, according to Kitson. FM Architettura, meanwhile, handled the bright interiors, covering the space in neutral hues and textures with pops of color along the way. And, as we mentioned, Kitson tapped Admiral to bring Project Spyder to life, in part due to the ship builder’s 3-D tech and digital platforms.
The 288-footer is a testament to indoor-outdoor living, with a design that seamlessly blends both areas—which there are plenty of, thanks to an interior volume of 3,000 GT. All that space means that the superyacht can house up to 18 guests across nine staterooms. Project Spyder’s primary suite on the bridge deck, of course, is the standout due to its circular private deck overlooking the sea.
Equally stunning sights can be seen from the nearly 1,080-square-foot beach club, which can expand with its four hatches to offer up even more lounging spots; the area is also decked out in colorful surfboards for a playful touch. As for the main deck, that’s where you’ll find the 34-foot pool, ready for a dip. Elsewhere, there are a spacious main salon and an observation lounge upper deck.
The bow, though, is perhaps the most versatile area onboard: It can transform from a helipad into either a pickleball or basketball court, depending on the mood. For more fitness-focused activities, the sundeck offers up a gym, as well as a Jacuzzi and more lounging space.
The owners of Project Spyder will have plenty of ways to stay active while hitting the high seas.
