The daughters of The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Gizelle Bryant may be ready to leave the nest — but their mom may be right behind them.

    How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Potomac Sundays at 8/7c and next day on  Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

Gizelle shared in Season 9, Episode 15 of RHOP that she had plans to buy an “investment home” that was “three minutes” from her daughter Adore’s school. Adore is attending Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia, which just so happens to be Gizelle’s alma mater.

Why is Gizelle Bryant Purchasing a Home Near Her Daughter?

As Adore shared herself during a college shopping trip to The Container Store, Gizelle has an unexpected reason for making the large purchase.

“Because when she visits the hotels suck, so she has to buy a house,” Adore laughingly told older sister Grace. “That’s what she told me.”

Where Are Gizelle Bryant’s Daughters Going to School?

This year marked the first time all three of Gizelle’s daughters, including Grace and twins Adore and Angel, will all be attending separate colleges.

While Grace was preparing in the episode to return for her sophomore year at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in Tallahassee, Florida, Adore and Angel were prepping for their freshman years at Hampton University and Spelman College, respectively.

Although her daughters’ schools may be spread out across the East Coast, Gizelle made it clear that  wasn’t going to stop her from being a frequent visitor.

“Mom what are you going to do when you’re out of, like, your projects and when we leave?” Adore asked her.

“I’m going to visit you all,” Gizelle replied. “What you gonna do when you pop up in the party and your mom is already in there?”

After hearing of her mom’s party plans, Adore tried to set some ground rules, telling her overly eager mom that she could only come out with her if she was invited.

But Gizelle was already busy practicing her best dance moves in the middle of the store.

“Dropping it, dropping it,” she joked as she moved her booty.

“Mom, if I invite you it’s fun and cool,” Adore tried once again. “If you show up there, it’s weird.”

“So, I can go with you though?” Gizelle asked.

“They’ll be like who’s this 50-year-old at the club,” Grace chimed in.

Gizelle insisted that “nobody’s gonna mention age,” but her daughters weren’t convinced. As they headed to the checkout with their purchases, Gizelle still wasn’t giving up on the idea of hitting the clubs together.

“That would be kind of fun though, that would be epic,” she said.

“That’s really embarrassing,” Grace said, before Gizelle assured her, “We’re going to the club together.”

Grace may not be as opposed to the idea as she implied though. After learning that Gizelle planned to buy an investment property near Hampton University to be close to Adore, she asked her mom, “What about me though?”

“I’m getting to you,” Gizelle told her before they shook hands on their own possible “investment deal.”

What Advice Did Grace Have for Her Sisters?

Earlier in the episode, Grace offered her younger siblings some advice before they set off on their own adventures, pulling out a “whole list” of notes she had made.

“A lot of these guys are gonna approach you, they’re like itching for girls,” Grace told her sisters as they dined out with Gizelle. “Just be aware.”

But when Grace veered off course and told the twins not to check too deeply into potential suitors because “God has it on lock,” her mom put an end to the advice session.

“No, OK, Grace stop,” she told her.

To keep up with Gizelle as she prepares to send her daughters off to school, watch The Real Housewives of Potomac on Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo or available streaming the next day on Peacock.
