Diversity advocates got a rare bit of good news this week when a U.S. judge dismissed a suit by a white male who claimed the City of Seattle’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs created a hostile work environment based on race.
U.S. District Judge Jamal N. Whitehead of the Western District of Washington rejected the allegation by Joshua A. Diemert that discriminatory effects of Seattle’s Race and Social Justice Initiative are so severe that they created a racially hostile work environment for white people in general, or him in particular.
