President Donald Trump said he is suspending the security clearances of Covington & Burling partner Peter Koski and other attorneys at the firm who have assisted in representing former special counsel Jack Smith.
In a memo signed by Trump on Tuesday in the Oval Office, he directed Attorney General Pam Bondi and relevant agencies to suspend “any active security clearances” held by Koski and other employees of Covington who assisted “Jack Smith during his time as special counsel.”
