I’m a Style Editor, and I’m Packing This Wrinkle-resistant Travel Set for All My Spring and Summer Trips

It’s lightweight and feels breezy thanks to a roomy (but not baggy) silhouette. At the same time, it feels substantial and drapes beautifully. I like to sleep whenever possible on a plane and with this sweatsuit, I never have to worry about looking disheveled upon arrival. The fabric is wrinkle-resistant, making it both nap-proof and easy to pack. If you plan on packing it instead of wearing it en route, there’s no need to worry about needing an iron upon arrival.

In addition to its functionality, the fabric is incredibly soft, with a suede-like texture that feels as luxurious as it looks. Elevated details include ribbing around the zippered collar and along the sides of the top. And if a quarter-zip top and straight-leg pants aren’t your thing, Athleta’s Seasoft line offers other mix-and-match options, including a ribbed crewneck pullover and some plush joggers.

Like all of the Athleta pieces I love, this outfit comes in a wide range of sizes, from XS to 3XL. My beloved straight-leg pants are available in regular, petite, and tall-length options. I also appreciate that the pieces are sold separately, as I often need a different size in tops and bottoms — something that can be tricky when sweatsuits are sold as one cohesive set. Everything fits true to size for me, and based on customer reviews, I’m not alone. I’m 5-foot 7 inches, and the regular-length 30.5-inch pants hover just above the floor on me.

Many Athleta customers have shared glowing reviews of how this fared on trips.
