Lisa Vanderpump is here to offer her support for The Valley‘s Brittany Cartwright following her split from Jax Taylor. The Vanderpump Rules boss has had an inside look at their relationship since the very beginning, and now she’s showing all the love to Brittany amid their divorce.
Lisa appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Thursday, May 1, where she weighed in on their separation. Lisa noted that she was happy that Brittany “finally” found her voice to speak up and leave the relationship. “I think when you see a woman who is not standing up to a man and having, you know, equality in the partnership, that’s very disheartening for me,” she explained. “So absolutely good for her.”
Lisa had previously weighed in on the end of their relationship in March 2024, just weeks after they announced that they were separating. In an interview with E! News she said that she was sad for the couple, especially since they share their 4-year-old son, Cruz Cauchi.
“It’s a shame when they have a child,” she said. “Marriage isn’t easy, and there’s always so many options in Hollywood and excuses and their egos involved.”

Lisa has also shown her support to Jax amid his recovery from addiction during her WWHL appearance. “It’s very upsetting, the whole thing, obviously, being so supportive of them as a couple,” she added. “But I just really hope he really takes it seriously, because it’s not just about going to rehab, it’s about the work that you’ve got to do afterwards. It’s about distancing himself from anybody that’s doing that, he’s really gotta take it seriously.”

Brittany appeared on WWHL on Tuesday, April 29, where she opened up about her relationship with Jax, including his biggest red flag that she ignored over the years. She noted that “how he treated people and waiters in general” should have been her first sign that he was not a good partner.
“Red flag, if you’re mean to somebody who works at McDonald’s. Come on, should have seen it from day one,” she said.
