Kyle Richards and Demi Moore have us seeing double. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member looks so much like The Substance actress, and this photo of them is proof of their resemblance.
Kyle took to Instagram on Thursday, May 8, where she posted a photo of herself and Demi while they attended the launch party for The Prism: Seven Steps to Heal Your Past and Transform Your Future by Laura Day. Although Kyle has a famous actress sister, Kim Richards, as well as her socialite sister, Kathy Hilton, Demi could be the fourth Richards sister due to her striking resemblance to Kyle.
In the photo, both Demi and Kyle can be seen wearing their chic black outfits, smiling for the camera, while they wrapped their arms around each other. “It’s giving ‘stunt double,'” Kyle wrote in the caption of the post.
Although Kyle seemed to tower over Demi in the photo, she clarified that this is just a fluke. “Demi is taller than me. She had on flats and I had on platforms,” Kyle clarified, along with the words “the more you know.”
Kyle’s friends were very happy to see them together. “Lovelies,” Sutton Stracke wrote.
“FINALLY,” Bravo alum, Brad Goreski, added.
But musician Kacey Musgraves, who has also been called a Kyle look-alike, had a bit of FOMO. “Someone tap me in,” she commented.
How tall is Kyle Richards?
Kyle Richards is 5’2″. She confirmed her height in the comments of an Instagram post in 2019 and during RHOBH Season 13, Episode 7. During the episode, Kyle admitted that she was “only 5’2”, but she isn’t ashamed of it. “I have a big personality,” she joked.
Kyle reiterated her height in the comments of the May 2025 Instagram post, after one commenter noted that “Demi must be tiny” if Kyle is taller than her. “I wrote in the captions that she had flats on and I had platform heels. She’s a little taller than me,” Kyle wrote in reply.
Mauricio Umansky once mistook Kyle Richards for Demi Moore’s sister
Kyle’s estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, has even thought that Kyle and Demi look very similar. Kyle told The Knot in 2021 that her and Mauricio first met at an LA night club in the early 90s. “[Mauricio] thought I was Demi Moore’s sister — and I had actually been told that [before] — so he worked up the courage to come over and say hello, thinking that I was her sister,” she said.
“I figured if I couldn’t get Demi Moore, I could try to get her sister!” Mauricio exclaimed before stating that he “got something even better.”
Kyle also told this story on a March 2017 episode of Heather McDonald’s podcast, Juicy Scoop. “He thought that I was Demi Moore’s sister because he had seen me at the gym and someone said, ‘That’s Demi Moore’s sister.’ It was just one of those rumors and he believed it,” she recalled.
