Oil Nut Bay wants you to relax on the water—literally.

The exclusive resort nestled in the British Virgin Islands’ Virgin Gorda, has just unveiled its new spa and wellness center. The new space, christened the Sundara Spa + Studio, is perched right over the crystal-clear blue waters—and Robb Report got an exclusive first look inside.

Sundara certainly lives up to its name, which is the Sanskrit word for “beauty.” Here, you’re getting 360-degree views over the sea, as well as windows in the floor that give you a peek at the ocean below. You can take a look for yourself while experiencing any of the spa’s massages and facials in the locale’s two treatment rooms. Services on offer include a seaweed leaf wrap ($350 for 90 minutes) to detoxify, a deep muscle melter massage ($225 for an hour) to release any tension, and a skin renewal facial ($230 for 60 minutes). All the products used are courtesy of Voya, the world’s first certified organic seaweed-based skincare line.

In addition to any physical treatments, Sundara is also focused on healing and restorative experiences. The sanctuary’s wellness studio offers up yoga and meditation classes; the latter includes a sound experience that will help you release stress and become more in tune with yourself, while the former gives you a chance to loosen up and focus on mindfulness and strength.

The serene space also takes inspiration from nature for its design: Oil Nut Bay tapped Jenn Zella of CID Design Group and architect Carlos Agelet De Saracibar of OBMI to bring the project to like. The duo infused the spa with light, thanks to those massive windows, and continued that bright, airy feeling with light wood and neutral hues. The pop of color, of course, comes in from those oh-so-blue waters. Other amenities on-site include a hospitality bar, a hair and nail salon, and a boutique.

Oil Nut Bay had long been a private-island sanctuary for the well-heeled. The 400-acre resort can also become a more permanent destination, too: You can buy one of the stunning villas—like this $18.5 million number called Constellations, which has since sold—or homesites dotted across the locale, ranging in price from $1.95 million to $32.5 million. Nightly rates at the resort, meanwhile, range from $650 to $17,950, depending on your accommodations. No matter how you chose to stay, you’ll get to enjoy the property’s private beach club, fine dining, and the Marina Village, complete with a pool, an overwater restaurant, and a 101-slip marina.
