Garcelle Beauvais is booked and busy.
When she announced her exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this year, the actress/producer reassured fans she was still making moves in the entertainment biz and had multiple projects on deck. Garcelle didn’t provide details on what was in store at the time, but it appears we won’t have to wait too long for some answers.
Garcelle Beauvais gives a behind-the-scenes look at her mystery gig
On Tuesday, May 27, the mother of three confirmed she was in the Great White North for a mysterious new gig.
“Lunch break on location,” she said in the Instagram video.
The video showed Garcelle in what appeared to be a residential yard. A swing set and trees were seen in the backdrop, along with several pieces of equipment.
Again, Garcelle remained tight-lipped about the project and didn’t reveal any information about her specific involvement. Is she working as an actress? Is she one of the producers? Or perhaps both? The latter wouldn’t be too surprising, as she’s pulled double-duty on previous small-screen releases.
Garcelle later confirmed the project was being shot in the Vancouver area, as she shared footage of the Port Mann Bridge.
“I love bridges,” she captioned the May 27 Instagram Story.
Garcelle Beauvais announces she’s leaving RHOBH
Garcelle announced her RHOBH exit in late March after she stormed off the Season 14 reunion set. She explained her decision in an Instagram video posted a week before the reunion aired.
“I have some news: I’ve decided to leave Beverly Hills,” she began. “It’s been a wild ride — I mean, some amazing things have happened, and some hard things have also happened — but it’s been a ride nevertheless.”
Garcelle said there were two big reasons for her departure. The first was her family, specifically her teenage sons, Jax and Jaid Nilon.
“Their last year of high school is next year, and I want to be a part of that,” she explained. “And Jaid is starting a new [modeling] career, and I want to be a part of that too. Secondly, I have the most exciting projects that I am developing, producing, and acting in. I can’t tell you anything right now, but you’ll know soon.”

Garcelle went on to give thanks to RHOBH executive producer Andy Cohen, Bravo, NBCUniversal, the series’ producers, and her castmates.
“Andy Cohen said I can come back any time. The door will always be open,” she said with a smile. “So, you never know, I might pop back in sometime. To the fans, I want to say thank you so much. You guys have cheered me on, supported me, and sometimes even fought for me… It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later. So, see you later.”
