Crocs, Inc. will open a new ecommerce order fulfillment center in North Las Vegas that will serve as the company’s primary U.S. shipping hub, the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED) announced Aug. 14.

The footwear maker produces foam clogs and an expanding lineup of casual footwear. It was approved for $4.7 million in state tax abatements. In return, Crocs has committed to creating 70 jobs over the next five years. It also has committed to an average hourly wage of $34.03.

The company plans to invest $80 million in capital equipment during its first two years of operation. GOED projects the facility will generate more than $20 million in new state and local tax revenue over the 10-year abatement period.

Why Crocs is opening a fulfillment center in Las Vegas

Governor Joe Lombardo said the project reflects Nevada’s strategy to attract employers who will make significant investments while adding higher-wage positions.

“The seven companies that have been approved today for abatements will generate millions in investment into Nevada,” Lombardo said in a statement.

Crocs was represented in the incentive process by the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance (LVGEA).

According to the company’s latest annual report, Crocs employed more than 7,910 people worldwide as of Dec. 31, 2024. That includes about 4,560 retail store employees, 2,300 corporate and regional office staff, and 1,050 distribution center workers. The company stores most of its finished goods inventory in company-operated warehouses and logistics facilities in the United States and the Netherlands, while also using third-party operated distribution centers in countries including:

    • Australia
    • Brazil
    • Canada
    • China
    • India
    • Japan
    • Netherlands
    • Singapore
    • South Korea
    • United Kingdom

In 2024, Crocs expanded its U.S. distribution operations in Nevada to increase capacity for its HEYDUDE brand. The company reported that its owned warehouse and distribution facilities total 2.9 million square feet globally, while third-party facilities add another 900,000 square feet, with the ability to scale space based on inventory levels, according to the annual report.

The new North Las Vegas facility will expand the company’s domestic logistics footprint, which already includes both company-run and third-party operated centers, and will handle nationwide order fulfillment for Crocs products.
