Gia Giudice is more than ready to leave the nest.
The Next Gen NYC cast member has been teasing a potential home move over the past several months, citing her hectic work schedule that requires frequent commutes to the Big Apple. Gia revisited the issue in an August 21 Instagram Story, saying she has become increasingly eager to leave her family’s Montville mansion.
Gia Giudice gives an honest update on her living situation
“Can’t wait to have my place already,” she captioned a selfie. “I am in desperate need for an easy commute to nyc!! coming soon.”
Gia didn’t provide details, but said living in the Garden State has kept her from attending many NYC events.
“This is why I don’t go to everything because it’s soo tiring going back and forth,” she continued.

Gia Giudice once said she wasn’t rushing to leave her family home
Gia moved back in with her mom, Teresa Giudice, and stepdad, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, in May 2023, immediately after graduating from Rutgers University. She spoke about the living situation in the March 23 episode of her Casual Chaos podcast, insisting there was no “urgency” to find a place of her own.
“I mean, I have everything I need at home,” she said. “I know people that stay home until they get married. I make my own money, I do my own thing, but I just don’t see the urgency to move out.”
Gia Giudice revealed her plans to move closer to NYC
Fast-forward to early June, when Gia revealed she planned to get her own place for work-related reasons.
“It’s a lot,” she told Today about the commute. “My schedule has only picked up since Next Gen NYC, which is funny, because it picked up the summer we were filming Next Gen, and no one knew that we were filming it. It’s just my career kind of started picking up, and my brand started growing, and I am in the city at least four times a week, so it’s a lot of back and forth from Jersey.”

Gia said she wanted to find a place by August and be fully moved in by September. It’s unclear if the influencer/podcast host has found a new home or is still on the hunt.
“I’m either going to do Manhattan or Jersey City. I’m gonna figure it out,” she continued. “I’ll still spend my weekend at home, maybe every other weekend at home. I have to see my Bella (her family’s dog).”
