Walmart will run a sale the same week Amazon is running its Prime Big Deal Days. Unlike Amazon, Walmart’s sale is not limited to its Plus members, writing in its announcement, “No Membership Required.”
Amazon is running this year’s Prime Big Deal Days sale on October 7 – 8, 2025.
Walmart Deals will run October 7 – 12, and it is the retailer’s “first deals event of the season,” indicating it is planning additional sales throughout the holiday season.
While Walmart Deals are open to all customers, members of its Walmart+ program will get early access, beginning October 6 at 7 pm ET.
Walmart’s October sale is taking place online, in the app, and in-store. In Tuesday’s announcement, Walmart also plugged its AI-powered shopping assistant Sparky (Amazon’s is called Rufus).
