Gizelle Bryant closed out the month with a mini-family reunion.
Just weeks into the 2025 fall semester, The Real Housewives of Potomac mom returned to the Sunshine State to visit her eldest daughter, Grace Bryant, at college. The 20-year-old student just began her third year at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in Tallahassee, where she is pursuing a degree in public relations.
Gizelle Bryant gets a taste of Grace Bryant’s college experience
On Saturday, September 27, Gizelle took to Instagram to offer several peeks at FAMU’s Family Weekend, which included a mixer and movie night, a fraternity/sorority yard performance, and a tailgate event for the FAMU Rattlers vs. Alabama State Hornets football game. The bulk of Gizelle’s post focused on the latter event at Bragg Memorial Stadium. The Potomac ‘Wife shared a video of her and Grace dancing in the stands and several shots of the school’s famous Marching 100 band.

Grace shed light on her college journey in a November 2024 interview with The Daily Dish, admitting she would sometimes get treated differently by those who recognized her from TV.
“At the beginning, it was hard to get adjusted to that,” Grace said. “People would take videos of me or say comments about who I am under their breath. Now it is easier to deal with and has been dialed back.”
Where do Gizelle Bryant’s twins, Adore and Angel, go to college?
In addition to Grace, Gizelle is also a mom to 19-year-old twins Adore and Angel Bryant. She shares all three daughters with her ex-husband, Jamal Bryant, an Atlanta-based pastor whom Gizelle divorced in 2009.
Angel and Adore have also left the nest and recently kicked off their sophomore year at college. The former is a health science major at Spelman College in Atlanta, and the latter is studying international relations at Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia, which is also Gizelle’s alma mater.
Gizelle Bryant shares insight into her empty-nester life
The Potomac mom spoke about her empty-nester era during the August 25 episode of Reasonably Shady, her long-running podcast series with RHOP alum Robyn Dixon.
“I do want to give hope for the empty nesters out here,” Gizelle said. “It is a new world. I feel, like, embrace it. In the beginning, it’s like a breakup, you know? In a breakup, you’re all sad and it’s like your heart is broken. You’re like, ‘Oh my gosh, life is over.’ And then you get over that, and it’s just like, ‘You know what? It’s about me.’”

Although her children are no longer living at home, Gizelle insisted she and the girls have maintained a tight bond and communicate quite regularly.
“I didn’t really talk to my parents after I went to college, right, because we didn’t have cell phones,” she explained. “I mean, I talked to them, of course, but maybe once a week. These kids won’t stop calling me… It’s kind of like they’re still in my house because they keep calling.”
