Get ahead of the market by subscribing to Seeking Alpha’s Wall Street Week Ahead, a preview of key events scheduled for the coming week. The newsletter keeps you informed of the biggest stories set to make headlines, including upcoming IPOs, investor days, earnings reports, and conference presentations.

After a tough five days for Wall Street, investors will get some time off next week to assess and reflect, with markets closed on November 27, Thanksgiving. Market participants will still have plenty of catalysts to look forward to in terms of economic data and the earnings season.

Despite the resumption of a steady economic calendar after the end of the U.S. government shutdown, some key reports are still being cancelled due to a lack of survey data. Among some notable indicators, traders next week will receive delayed retail sales figures and producer price index readings for September on Tuesday, followed by durable goods on Wednesday. Investors can also expect initial jobless claims on Wednesday and the Federal Reserve’s latest Beige Book.

Alibaba Group (BABA), Dell (DELL), Deere & Company (DE), Analog Devices (ADI), Best Buy (BBY), HP (HPQ), and DICK’S Sporting Goods (DKS) are among some companies reporting earnings next week.
